World Balloon Convention Competition Qualifications

Qualifications
1. All competitors, their volunteers, and assistants must be registered, Full-package WBC 2012 delegates.
2. All competitors, their volunteers, and assistants must be registered and stay at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel for a minimum of four nights between March 18-25, 2012.
3. All competitors must complete the WBC online registration form, indicating the categories in which they choose to compete and including any applicable entry fees.
4. WBC 2012 Staff, WBC 2012 Instructors, WBC 2012 Sponsors, WBC 2012 Participating Distributors, and any employees or relatives of Pioneer Balloon Company are ineligible to compete or volunteer to help with a competition piece.

NOTE: Employees or relatives of (non-Pioneer) WBC 2012 Staff and WBC 2012 Instructors are eligible to compete. WBC 2012 Staff Members or WBC 2012 Instructors will not be allowed to participate in the judging of any competition in which their employee or relative is competing.

All competitors will receive copies of their scores. Scores will be available on site Sunday, March 25, or mailed after the convention.

Product Availability
Pioneer Balloon Company will provide free Qualatex balloons to competitors who enter the Large Sculpture, Medium Sculpture, or Balloon Fashion competitions by January 31, 2012.* In order to obtain free product, competitors in these categories must submit the
following to the WBC no later than January 31, 2012:
· Competition entry fee(s)
· Convention registration fee
· General Information Form(s), including design plans with sketches
· Completed balloon product order form(s)

*All Large Sculpture, Medium Sculpture, and Balloon Fashion competitors who enter after January 31 are responsible for purchasing and shipping their own Qualatex balloon product.
