Classes

Educational classes at the 2012 World Balloon Convention were designed for a variety of skill levels and interests, from those just beginning in balloons to seasoned professionals looking for new techniques and inspiration. The curriculum also featured business-focused information in every class to help delegates make more money while creating fabulous designs.

This was my first WBC and, while I knew that balloons were fun and a great add-on (I'm a florist), I didn't realize the full potential for creativity and profit. I have begun to practice and offer new balloon items and I am finding that customers in our area are wowed by this fun and colorful product.

My overall WBC experience was FANTASTIC! Most of the classes were wonderful, and when I found myself signed up for a class that didn't look too promising I was always able to join in with another class last minute with no difficulties! I gained immense confidence in my business, and was able to pick up many extremely valuable tips for building and expanding my business! I had a great time and plan to attend again in 2014.

It was a wonderful learning experience. The time of each class allowed me to get my head around some of the difficulties I was experiencing. What stuck out in my mind — numerous things: the workshops, seeing how the balloons are made, the Gala Night and best of all, the people I met who made me feel like we were all part of the Qualatex family.

My overall World Balloon Convention experience was just amazing! This was my first year ever attending and I was just blown away. The instructors really kept my interest. I walked away from the convention excited and filled with new ideas as to how to add more creativity to our business and also some new procedures that will help us grow and work more efficiently.
